Dubai's Best Luxury Hotels

Our travel advisor, Olivia, recently returned from an incredible trip to Dubai, where she explored some of the city's most luxurious hotels and unique experiences. Here's a detailed look at her adventure and what each of these fabulous destinations has to offer.

Bab Al Shams

Olivia's journey begins at Bab Al Shams, a stunning desert resort just an hour outside of Dubai. This luxury resort offers an authentic desert experience, perfect for a short stay of one to three nights. The desert safari at sunset is a must-do, featuring thrilling dune bashing and camel sightings. The huge pool area is a popular spot, especially on weekends when day guests from Dubai visit. The brand-new spa and gym are top-notch, providing excellent amenities for relaxation and fitness. Excitingly, Bab Al Shams is in the process of building new villas with private pools and dining areas, which will add even more luxury to the property. The entry-level rooms are lovely and comfortable, offering all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

Atlantis The Royal

Next, Olivia ventured into Dubai and stayed at Atlantis The Royal, her personal favorite hotel of the trip. Atlantis the Royal is a massive yet surprisingly manageable resort on the Palmi. Guests can choose between rooms with views of the Palm or the water. The entry-level rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the suites are even more impressive, featuring large living areas and balconies. The resort's food and beverage options are extraordinary, with a wide variety of choices that allow guests to spend several days here without needing to leave the property. Highlights here include Cloud 22 Pool with this summer’s Dolce and Gabbana collaboration and dining at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Milos, and Ariana’s Persian Kitchen.

One&Only The Palm

For those seeking a quieter and more intimate setting, One&Only The Palm is the perfect luxury hotel choice in Dubai. The rooms are spacious, though slightly dated, and the new adults-only pool is a stunning addition to the resort. One&Only the Palm is very close to Atlantis the Royal so guests can enjoy the incredible dining options just a short drive away. One&Only The Palm also offers a convenient layover package that includes airport pickup and drop-off, as well as day use of a cabana with shower and bathroom facilities, making it perfect for short, relaxing stays.

One&Only One Za'abeel:

In the heart of downtown Dubai, One&Only One Za'abeel offers a blend of comfort and luxury. The entry-level rooms are comfortable, but we recommend the suites for an even better experience. The Tapasake infinity pool provides stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai, and the Bali-inspired pool on the 4th floor is a serene place to unwind. The hotel's food and beverage outlets are fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options for every palate. Highlights of dining at the Link include restaurants Duangdy by Bo.lan and La Dame du Pic.

SIRO: Wellness Hotel

Lastly, she explored SIRO, Kerzner’s new wellness hotel concept located in the same building as One&Only One Za'abeel. The rooms are equipped with fitness gear, and the suites feature treadmills, massage tables, and recovery pools. The high-tech gym and spa facilities cater to health-focused travelers, providing a unique wellness experience.
