Adults-Only Resorts in Mexico for 2025

When it comes to the best adults-only resorts in Mexico, the options are many, but only a few deliver the kind of elevated experience that lingers long after you return home.

At KJ Travel, we specialize in curating exceptional, high-touch getaways. To ensure every recommendation is rooted in firsthand knowledge, our travel advisors Alexa and Brynne headed out to experience two destinations in Mexico that caught our attention for 2025: Almare Isla Mujeres and Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita. They're both adults-only, both luxurious in their own way and both handpicked by us for clients who want more than just a pretty beach.

Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, a girls’ getaway, a birthday celebration, or a solo reset, here are these two adults-only resorts in Mexico you need to know.

Almare Isla Mujeres

Just off the coast of Cancún, Alexa arrives at Almare Isla Mujeres, a chic, adults-only resort that balances barefoot charm with elevated design. Part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection, this boutique all-inclusive retreat features 109 thoughtfully designed suites, rooftop dining, and an oceanfront spa.

Guests arrive by private boat or ferry, welcomed with a cocktail and an immediate sense of calm. Almare is the kind of place that feels both undiscovered and perfectly polished, ideal for travelers seeking approachable luxury in a tranquil island setting.

Top reasons to stay at Almare:

  • Birthday trips and milestone celebrations

  • Girls’ getaways with curated experiences

  • Romantic escapes with easy beach access that doesn’t break the bank

Days here are slow and soulful, sunrise yoga, mezcal tastings, ceviche on the beach. Nights are warm and glittery with rooftop dinners and chilled-out music that never gets too loud.

And because it’s all-inclusive, your bill is covered, from green juice to good tequila.

Why Alexa loved it: It’s grown-up laid back fun with style. Almare doesn’t try to be something it’s not, it just quietly nails it: comfort, charm, and just the right amount of polish. Ideal for travelers who want beachfront at a good value to unwind, disconnect, and not worry about a thing.

Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort – Punta Mita

On the other side of Mexico Brynne arrived at Naviva. If you’re looking for one of the most exclusive adults-only beach resorts in Mexico, Naviva is your destination. Tucked into a lush cliffside in Punta Mita, this 15-tent Four Seasons resort is designed for deep rest, quiet luxury, and meaningful wellness.

aviva offers a completely personalized stay: no menus, no traditional concierge. Every element is customized in advance based on your preferences. Your tented suite includes an oceanview plunge pool, a private firepit, and an open-air design that immerses you in nature while delivering Five-Star comfort.

Some of the things you will experience:

  • Personalized, off-menu meals crafted just for you

  • Cooking class and cocktail making experiences

  • Unique spa treatments from sound healing to nocturnal forest bathing

Naviva is the move for travelers who’ve done the big resorts and want something that feels tailor-made. It’s also available for buyouts, which makes it ideal for ultra-private retreats, milestone celebrations, or intimate weddings.

Why Brynne loved it: Naviva it’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place to come back to yourself. Every detail is intentional, every moment a little softer around the edges. If you crave meaningful rest, seamless personalization, and luxury that doesn’t shout, this is your sanctuary.

These aren’t just “adults-only” in the marketing sense. These are places where the energy is different, slower, intentional. Whether you’re sipping mezcal on a rooftop in Isla Mujeres or reading your favorite book under the palms in Punta Mita, you're somewhere made for the kind of travel that restores you.

At KJT, we’ve experienced both properties firsthand. We know the perfect room numbers and the best meals and experiences. And we’re here to help you figure out which escape suits you, your group, or your intention for the trip.

Let us take it from here, flawless planning, insider access, and all the magic of Mexico, tailored just for you.

Luxury Getaways in Santa Barbara: Where to Stay on the American Riviera

What if you could indulge in the glamour of the Riviera without crossing an ocean? Santa Barbara, fondly dubbed “The American Riviera,” is a paradise on California’s central coast that entices year-round sunshine, ocean views, and just the right touch of luxury.

It’s a destination that works in every season. beachfront resorts, vineyard escapes, and five-star service all within reach, all at a slower, more luxurious pace. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a multi-generational trip, a relaxing weekend getaway or something spontaneous, here are our top picks for where to stay in Santa Barbara.

Belmond El Encanto

Tucked into the hills above Santa Barbara, Belmond El Encanto is a 1920s gem that delivers privacy, discreet luxury and timeless charm. The bungalow-style suites, lush gardens, and infinity-edge pool give it a residential feel, while still offering all the high-touch details of a Belmond stay. It's especially ideal for couples or anyone who prefers being a little removed from the buzz, without compromising on service or scenery.

El Encanto

San Ysidro Ranch

Set on 500 acres in Montecito, San Ysidro Ranch has long been a go-to for those seeking total seclusion. The cottages here feel more like personal homes than hotel rooms, many come with outdoor rain showers, fireplaces, and private hot tubs. There's history (JFK honeymooned here), impeccable food, and an unmatched sense of quiet. Ideal for honeymoons, anniversaries, or anyone in search of an actual break.

Rosewood Miramar Beach

KJT Travel Advisor, Madelyn just returned from Rosewood Miramar Beach and here’s her insider take on one of California’s most stunning beachfront resorts.

Set along Montecito’s coastline, the property feels more like a private estate than a resort, white cottages, manicured lawns, and direct beach access. It’s well-suited for both couples and families.

Every room category includes a spacious marble bathroom with dual vanities, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. The Beach House rooms offer oceanfront views, while rooms farther from the main path provide added privacy and quieter mornings (but note the railway on-site!)

There’s no formal kids’ club, but family-friendly details are built in, like s’more kits, beach games, and weekly programming.

Dining includes Caruso’s, a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant; AMA Sushi, offering an omakase experience; and The Revere Room for all-day meals with ocean views. Cabana Bar and Miramar Beach Bar offer more casual, beachside options.

On property, guests can surf at sunrise, book time at the Forbes Five-Star spa, browse curated shops, or explore nearby wine country. The experience is designed to feel elevated but relaxed, nothing overcomplicated, everything intentional.

The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Resorts

About 40 minutes inland, Los Olivos and the Santa Ynez Valley wine country offer a different pace and a lot of wine. Mattei’s Tavern part of the Auberge Resorts is your luxe base for that and its a great combo with a beach stay. Originally a 19th-century stagecoach stop, it’s now a stylish retreat with 67 rooms and a central tavern that draws both guests and locals.

You’re surrounded by vineyards, tasting rooms, and golden light. We recommend private tastings at Star Lane or Brave & Maiden, followed by a slow evening around the fire pits back at the inn. This is where coast meets countryside without losing the luxury touch.

Four Seasons Biltmore (Reopening Late 2025)

The grande dame of Montecito returns in late 2025 after a full renovation. The Biltmore will reopen with upgraded rooms, new dining (including a Nobu), and revamped family and adult-only pool areas. Expect restored Spanish Colonial architecture and a refreshed take on beachfront luxury. We can't wait to visit and tell you all about it!

Whether you’re craving the ocean breeze and spa days, hillside hideaways, or vineyard views with a glass in hand, Santa Barbara delivers the best of the Riviera, without the transatlantic flight. It’s close enough for a spontaneous getaway, yet styled for the kind of slow, meaningful travel that stays with you.

The Biltmore

Whether you're craving spa days, vineyard views and private tastings, or sunset walks and ocean breezes, Santa Barbara delivers the ultimate California luxury escape, no passport required.

Inside Ireland’s Most Exclusive Luxury Experiences: Private Tours, Castle Stays & Helicopter Rides

Ireland’s stunning landscapes, helicopter rides over the coast and grand estates provide the perfect setting for luxury travelers. On a recent spring trip, KJ Travel’s founder Kate experienced Ireland through exclusive private tours, celebrity chef meals, and exceptional stays curated by our trusted partners.

Kate's journey began in Dublin where some standout experiences included a private Verger’s tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a behind-the-scenes look at Windmill Lane Studios, and a cozy, candlelit dinner in the private home of Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon complete with seasonal Irish dishes, storytelling and local charm.

Of course, no visit to Dublin is complete without visiting a few pubs but we can take you up close and personal with locals sharing a snug and even taking a spin behind the bar to pour the perfect Guinness pint for patrons.

Castles Worthy of the Hype (and Then Some)

There’s something undeniably magical about exploring Ireland’s castles and Kate's journey proved it.

Kate visited several of Ireland’s best, including Ashford Castle,  Dromoland Castle, and the iconic Adare Manor. Each one offers its own take on luxury, from candlelit elegance to estate-sized grandeur. But here's the thing: it’s not about checking castles off a list. It’s about knowing which one fits you best.

Some are ideal for couples seeking romance. Others are perfect for families or groups looking to take over an entire wing or even the whole property, while others deliver world-class golf, falconry, hawk walking or Connemara sheepdog demonstrations.

Helicopter Over the Wild Atlantic

One of the biggest highlights in Kate's journey was a private helicopter, soaring over the Wild Atlantic Way, and landing on Clare Island. There, Kate explored hiking trails, heard stories about the local pirate queen and enjoyed a freshly caught seafood lunch and curated Irish spirit tasting.

The heli ride over the Cliffs of Moher was another moment of awe. And the flight around the Skellig Islands en route from Dingle and over the Killarney National Park highlighted so many aerial views that you’d never get the chance to experience otherwise.

For Golf Enthusiasts, This Is the Motherland

Even though golf wasn’t an activity on Kate's itinerary, she knows what’s possible and KJT is here to make it happen for you.

Ireland is a bucket list destination for golfers. If that’s you, we’ll handle all the details,  the hard-to-get tee times, arrange for your clubs to be delivered, and we'll definitely make sure you arrive in style, you choose: a luxury vehicle or landing like a boss in a helicopter. And if your travel companions aren't golfing? No problem. We’ll balance the trip with spa days, castle stays, cultural experiences, or anything else to make everyone on the vacation happy.

Island Moments That Feel Like Another World

On Valentia Island, Kate wandered dramatic coastlines, heard local legends, and soaked in untamed, windswept beauty. It was the kind of place where you pause and forget time exists.

In Killarney, Kate took a private boat ride to Innisfallen Island for a peaceful picnic among ancient ruins, surrounded by the glassy stillness of the lake.

Hotel and Private Use Castles

This was certainly a scouting trip and Kate took deep dives touring several of the top luxury hotels in Ireland from Dublin to Killarney including the recently renovated Killarney Park Hotel where Kate was one of the first to enjoy the hotel’s new facilities.

Also in Killarney, she visited The Europe Hotel & Resort, a luxury lakefront property with a spa and wellness amenities plus a huge property for exploring on foot or horseback. It was the kind of contrast Ireland does so well: rugged but refined.

She also visited several private use castles perfect for a multifamily vacation for those looking for a European home away from home. Several of these are located on resort properties with easy access to all restaurants and on-site activities while others provide the opportunity for more privacy and support staff like butlers and private chefs.

Ireland leaves an impression: wild, elegant, and impossible to forget. After seeing it through Kate's eyes, we know what delivers and what doesn’t. Kate has vetted the details, met the right people, and built the connections that turn a beautiful trip into an exceptional one.
